Genes of Korattiar family

Mom and Dad talk frequently about how I will behave once i am out in thier world based on their individual identities. They somehow found out that the baby gets 23 chromosomes from each one of them and they will talk about the various possibilities of which one will be a suitable fit for me from the available choices. I think it was my chitti  who after learning a lot of stuff about genes/chromosomes in her biology classes gave a small briefing to mommy regarding these stuffs. She also concluded that the best scenario as per her choice for me is to pick up the brains from daddy, public speaking skills from mommy, color from appatha veetu aiya and hair from aaya veetu aiya. Little did they know how i will manipulate these genes as separate ones or the way i will play with the innumerable permutations & combinations when i blend them together while growing up :)

As a starter for now they think that i have picked up few stuff from dad with a strong grip! In the recent months, mom has been doing stuffs that she has never even dreamed in her life! Like her interest towards any kind of sweets from chocolates to the juicy jamoons and particularly every kids favorite 'jelly belly'. Once mom made dad go back to the car to fetch the jelly belly that she left in the car. Dad was quite happy to do it even though it was  sub zero temperature outside and the car was parked far away! Also, mom has been watching Tamil movies frequently with a new found passion.  I think mom would have seen the major junk of movies in her lifetime during the recent months. Mom always says(!) that dad's whole family has a fervent affinity for movies & sweets while she is not bothered leave alone any excitement!

Dad says that i succeeded in changing mom to do stuff that he has been trying from the first day of their marriage... Is it just dad genes or the whole of korattiar family!!! I think there are few things that i can teach him once i am out there :)
